Welcome to Remember Her, an immersive four Saturdays of retreat for women to tend the sacred and reclaim power through education and reverence of their own bodies. Through dance, circle, and ritual, this series is thoughtfully designed for women who seek to deepen their self-awareness, cultivate a positive relationship with their bodies and life force, and heal patterns or trauma that may affect their emotional and sexual well-being.

Remember Her offers a safe and supportive space for individuals who are dissatisfied with the conventional education we received about our bodies, for women who have experienced sexual trauma, grapple with body image or shame, or simply aspire to reconnect with their sexuality in a way that feels true for them.

Why I offer this:

I grew up in a home of domestic violence, where I absorbed the message that it wasn't safe to be a woman. I associated blood and intimacy with violence, rather than seeing the sacredness in them. As I transitioned into adolescence, I had no one to turn to for guidance about my maturing body, my blood, or my sexuality. In fact, I developed the belief that my body was a very unsafe place to be.

Sadly, this is a common narrative for our generation. Our Mothers and Grandmothers didn't speak of our bodies as sacred or have the knowledge to educate us.

Remember Her is a response to this.

Drawing upon my early experiences in the SW realm, my long-standing practice of sexological bodywork, and years of being a student of somatic sex education, including a decade of study and practice under the guidance of my priestess teacher, Seraphina Capranos, I've carefully curated a diverse set of tools and insights, all geared towards supporting you in this four-part series.

Our sessions encompass a rich tapestry of inquiries, conscious dance, interactive exercises, mindfulness practices, rituals and deep reflections.

From breaking silences to setting boundaries, hands on learning about the anatomy and physiology of the vulva, vagina, and cervix, genital dearmouring practices, relearning the voice of the womb, sharing our stories, and cultivating body trust, we embark on this venture together.

This work of re-education and reverence becomes a practice, which empowers us to transform thought and behaviour patterns, leading to personal growth.

At the heart of this series, we honour the Motherline. We will explore the connection between sexological work and ancestral healing - reflecting on the loss of teachings from mother to daughter and how it impacts our relationship with our bodies and sexuality, as we navigate this patriarchal dominant world. There will be strong invitation for participants to research practices, ritual, & mothertongue from their motherline and bring their discoveries back to circle.

This work is dear to my heart because many women have grown up in a culture that shames and suppresses their knowledge of self and sexuality, leading to a disconnection from their bodies and a lack of self-worth and self-confidence.

Together, we are courageously carving a new path forward.
